Mindful Morels, Deep Dish, Therapy & Confessions
Mindful Morels, Deep Dish, Therapy & Confessions.
Mindful Morels is an audio experience that focuses on the art of mindfulness and connection with nature, which emphasizes slow living, encouraging one to savour each moment and reconnect with one’s inner self. Deep Dish is an audio culinary journey that celebrates the rich, hearty flavours of multiple cultures within the culinary arts. Deep Dish is not just about the culinary journey; it’s an experience that brings us together around the virtual table whilst listening and sharing stories over a whole culinary experience. Therapy & Confessions is a safe space where one will explore one’s thoughts, feelings, and experiences whilst you listen. This will provide a supportive environment where one can gain insights into their behaviors and emotions, fostering personal growth and resilience. This is a journey of self-discovery and empowering individuals to lead more fulfilling lives. Confessions, on the other hand, is a candid exploration of the human experience, where one will share their unknown experiences. This intimate practice encourages honesty and openness, allowing one to connect with you on a deeper level. Spoken stories, artistic expressions, and confessions serve as a cathartic release, fostering understanding and empathy among us as individuals. This is a reminder that everyone has their struggles, and sharing them can lead to healing and connection.

Hello everyone, welcome back to Mindful Morels, Deep Dish Therapy and Confessions. I'm your host, producer SiveRight, and I'm super excited to be part of this fourth edition of Podcast On. For one week, thousands of podcasts are highlighting charities that matter, and today, we're shining the spotlight on the amazing Cake Therapy Foundation. So, what does Cake Therapy do? Well, they're all about crafting transformative spaces and opportunities through the therapeutic power of baking. Their mission? To cultivate safe havens for women and girls impacted by the justice system, foster care, and displacement. They're empowering them to explore, learn, grow, and achieve greatness through the art and joy of baking. And, I have to say, I have a personal connection here. The founder of the Cake Therapy Foundation is actually a relation of mine. We both bring a passion for food and empowerment to the table. I, the chef, producer Sive Right, and dessert curator, Dr. Altricia Foster, blend perfectly with the Foundation's mission, making this partnership feel like a natural fit. The Cake Therapy Foundation served over 100 girls in Minnesota since 2023, with 60 plus girls in school-based programs in 2024 alone. Twenty-four high school students even got engaged in workforce readiness programming in 2025. So, what's the magic happening? 92% of participants report increased confidence in trying new skills. 89% say cake therapy helped them feel calmer and more focused. And 85% feel more confident speaking up or leading group activities. Cake Therapies Got It All. Baking workshops, life skills training, entrepreneurship, community building, therapy and counseling, advocacy and awareness, coaching and mentorship, and internship programs. They're shaping a community where the therapeutic art of baking becomes a catalyst for positive change. Want to get involved? You contact them at 161-243-8724. Or drop an email at hello at the Cake Therapy Foundation.org. Check out their website and consider supporting their mission. And that wraps up this special episode. Thanks for tuning in and thanks to the Cake Therapy Foundation for the awesome work they're doing. If you enjoyed this episode, head over to www.podcaston.org to discover more charities and podcasts. Until next time, stay mindful and moralicious.
